Laundry drying 'a risk to health'

A new study carried out by Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow has found that many homes have too much moisture content, one third of which was attributed to drying laundry inside. 

BBC Scotland Health Correspondent, Eleanor Bradford, advised that the study of 100 homes in Glasgow, found that 87% dryed washing indoors in cold and wet weather and that one load of washing, emitted 2 lites of water, resulting in 75% of the households in the study, having a moisture content which could lead to "dust mite" growth. 

This would particularly effect those suffering from Asthma, Hay Fever and other Allergies.
